people are INSANE.

there comes a time in everyones life when they have to learn to let go.

old relationships, grudges, bad karma, whatever, just have to learn to let it all go. and i've finally done that today.

without getting into details.. it took 7 years. but i needed to let it go. and i finally learned to walk away from it all. it took 3000 miles and 7 years. but i've finally gotten closure and it feels really really nice.

so...

i realized today. that i have wayyyyy too much access to SPIRE.
since i work in the admissions office.. they basically give me the access that a full-time employee has. so they dont have to do as much work, they just tell the student worker to do it.

which is fine.
but.

i made the mistake of looking up MY student ID # ...
i found out lots of things. about my application.
and about when i applied.

... like...

i can see what i checked off as being interested in.
i can see what i applied for (& if i had applied as something, WHY i didnt get into it)
i didn't apply for an intended major at the time, but it was there lol

i can see who the counselor was that was responsible for accepting me to umass.

Manchester United is basically forcing Ronaldo to play out his contract. ahaha. love it.

Man U has basically told the media that anyone can offer anything, theyre NOT going to trade Ronaldo.

Alex was supposed to get out of the hospital on Tuesday but they found infections & he's still there. I guess they operated on him yesterday morning. He's still there today. I'm going into Boston to visit him for a bit. They said he'll probably be there through next weekend too... yucky.

The doctors were prepping Alex for surgery this morning and apparently he has come down with an infection in a few of his wounds, Celulitis. Its not a HUGE deal, but it still kind of sucks. Now he has to wait for we dont know how long until his infection goes away so they can go in and do a skin graph.

Basically what they need to do, is find a way to close the holes he has in his arm (from being skid across the road) and then do a skin graph. Apparently they can almost like.. vacuum his skin together enough to put the new skin (which is grown in a lab) on his arm so it'll all grow together. (kinda gross but thats the easiest way to explain it without going into detail).

i just feel bad for him cuz he loooooove football and he probably wont be playing many (if any) sports this season.

in other news. exboyfriend (not jay) has been calling me recently. i'm not sure how i feel about it, but its not bad. and by not bad i mean we arent fighting, and most of the time its all just laughing & catching up on each others lives.

work is ok. now that the orientations started, i actually have stuff to do. [p.s. the taco bell commercial is my favorite ever]. i spent the entire day today counting results to individual parent surveys. seriously. there were 200 of them. and i had to go through & tally each one of them & each of their responses. soo lame. its seriously just busy work. whatever.

my boss gets really flustered when there isnt anything for us to do. today we (me & the 5 other people i work with) were basically sitting around doing nothing & talking to eachother & she came out of here office and was like "uhh i have some errands to go run and umm yeah so if i dont see you guys who are leaving at 430, i'll see you tomorrow" so she left. 430 rolls around, everyone but evan & i leaves & not 3 minutes later she comes back. she's a funny old lady.

he's gonna do it all himself.
i kinda half offered. i told him i would have if i wasnt going to maine this weekend
lol he still said he woulda said no "by personal choice" ... hermit.

i have a month & a half to learn a whole semesters worth of spanish.
that isnt too bad right...
if i study a little bit every day
take 1 chapter per week
thats only 5 weeks i need to catch up on

(i'm doing this because i'm SKIPPING ahead to a more advanced level. not cuz i need to repeat it lol)

so. its summer time. i spend most of my time at work.
most of the time i get paid to sit around & stare at a wall
or be on myspace, facebook, livejournal or any other counter productive website
occasionally i do some work. answer some phones.

i print disney coloring pages out & play with crayons.
its really kind of like preschool. lol

p.s. fight night @ fenway is basically my favorite lol
